The displaced water should provide the buoyancy force that equals the weight of the iceberg:
iceberg volume × 920 kg m-3 × g = displaced volume × 1030 kg m-3 × g
∴ % of Displaced volume / iceberg volume = 920 / 1030 × 100
= 0.89 × 100
= 89%
→ 89% of the volume is under water and 11% of the volume is above the water.
