Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

M = 34.55 g/mol

◆ Explaination -

Density of PH3 at 50 ℃ is given by -

d = W / V

d = M × n / V

d = M × P / RT

M = dRT / P

Substitute values,

M = 1.27 × 8.314 × 323 / 0.987×10^5

M = 0.03455 kg/mol

M = 34.55 g/mol

Therefore, molar mass of phosphine gas is 34.55 g/mol.

Hope this is useful...
