The density of potassium chloride (KCL) crystal is 1.98 x 103 gm/m3 and atomic weight of potassium is 39 and chlorine is 35.55. If potassium chloride (KCI) has FCC lattice structure, calculate lattice constant and interplanar spacing for (2 2 3) plane. Considering the value of interplanar spacing getting from above calculate the diffraction angle where the monochromatic radiation has a wavelength of 2.866 nm and the order of diffraction is 3.
