It is learnt from sources that a major portion of the forest in our area could be cleared for making a flyover and an expressway. Trees shouldn't be cut for the following reasons:

The ecological balance will get disturbed, leading to more frequent floods and droughts.

Wildlife are going to be affected, because the natural habitat provides shelter, food, and protection.

The topmost fertile layer are going to be lost, leading to reduced fertility and desertification with time.

Global warming will increase which is already on the rise and climatic change will be driven.

It is requested to look into the matter and take action as per forest protection guidelines.
