The depth of water in a harbour on a given day can be modelled using the funcon
d(t) = 12sin[30(t − 5)] + 14 , where ‘d’ is the depth in metres, and ‘t’ is the me past midnight,
in hours.
Seaplanes use this harbour to take off and land. It has been determined that seaplanes need a
minimum of 3m of water to land, otherwise it is unsafe.
Provide analysis and any recommendaons based on this data to Filip, a new seaplane pilot.
