Answer :
The well developed system of roads, transport, electricity, irrigation, schools and health centre in village Palampur shows that if all the facilities are provided and used effectively, then the common goals of peasants and other villagers can be fulfilled.
This can be done in reality if :-
- The government take several measures towards the agricultural development.
- Electricity plays a vital role in agricultural. As it supports the modern system of irrigation. Like in Palampur, the old tradition of irrigation was replaced by the modern ways through electricity only.
- Government should provide loans to the peasants so that they could sow their fields. Large landowners often refuse to help them or even if they help, they ask to pay high charges.
- Crop rotation also helps in increasing the productivity.
- People should also participate in non-agricultural activities.
The question describes several values of the hypothetical village. From this, it is quite clear that if the people and government pay proper attention towards their goals then the development goals are not too far. Palampur village is well maintained. It has schools, treatment rooms, electricity facilities ans so on. People also performs non-agricultural activities.
