The design in which lines, shapes, forms, or colors are repeated is called pattern.

There is a difference between pattern and repetition. Due to which we placed pattern here and not repetition. Let know the difference

Repetition

It is the repetition of a single element. Such as you drew a circle and copy pasted it several times in the design.

Pattern

On the other hand, pattern is the repetition of more than one design element. For example, you designed a complete patch that has lines, colors and shapes. You copy the entire patch and paste it such that it all seems one.
