Explanation:

Since most of the earth is now industrialised and based on more of the infrastructures, in case of a major or a minor earthquake, results will be a graveyard of people and a lot of man made structural damage but if its the same earthquake (lets saw a major earthquake) would have at mostly caused landforms, shapening of the earthetc..

so basically its the common chances of the first case (damage) but second case which happens rarely and in a short scale of uplifting surface or supressing them down

hope helps uuuu

Answer:

The more time it takes for an earthquake fault to heal, the faster the shake it will produce when it finally ruptures, according to a new study by engineers at the University of California, Berkeley, who conducted their work using a tabletop model of a quake fault.
