[ All sides of square are equal ]

[ All sides of square are equal ]⇒ AC=8 cm [ Given ]

[ Given ]In right angled triangle ABC△

[ Given ]In right angled triangle ABC△⇒ (AC)^2=(AB)^2+(BC)^2

[ By Pythagoras theorem ]

⇒ (8)^2=a^2+a^2

=>64=2a^2

⇒a^2=32a

⇒a^2=32a ⇒ Area of a square =a^2=32 cm
