Solution :

Let d1,d2 are Two diagonals

of a Rhombus .

d1 = 12cm ,

d2 = 16cm

Side of the Rhombus ( a )

= √ (d1/2 )² + ( d2/2 )²

= √( 12/2 )² + ( 16/2 )²

= √ 6² + 8²

= √36 + 64

= √100

= √10²

= 10

a = 10

Therefore ,

Perimeter ( P ) = 4a

= 4 × 10

= 40 cm
