Answer:

Volume of the cube will be increased by 33.1 percent.

The easiest way to solve this problem is like this.

Let us take a cube of side 10 cm each each. Volume of this cube can be calculated , 10x10x10 = 1000 cm^3.

Now increase side of the by 10 percent.

New length of the side will be 10+10x10/100=11

Volume of the new cube= 11x11x11=1331 cm^3

Percentage increase in the volume

(331/1000)x100=33.1
