Divide the quadrilateral into two triangles with common base as one of the diagonals (like in the figure.) Area of ABCD = 1/2 * BD * AO + 1/2 * BD * OC = 1/2 * BD * (AO+OC ) = 1/2 * BD * AC = 1/2 * 16 * 13 = 104 cm²
