The diagonal of a quadrilateral is 30 cm in length and the length of
perpendiculars to it from the opposite vertices are 8 cm and 10 cm. Find the
area of the quadrilateral.​

Given that :-

• Length if diagonal = 30 cm

• Length of perpendicular = 8 cm and 10 cm .

So ,

area of quadrilateral =

1 / 2 * length of diagonal ( sum of perpendiculars )

= 1 / 2 * 30 * ( 8 + 10 )

= 15 * 18

= 270 cm²
