The diagonal of a quadrilateral is 30 m in length and the length of the perpendiculars to it from the opposite vertices 6.8cm and 9.6cm. find the area of the quadrilateral.

Area of a quadrilateral=1\2×d(h1+h2)
In the given case
Diagonal=30cm
Height 1=6.8cm
Height2=9.6cm
1\2×30(6.8+9.6)
=15(16.4)
=150.8cm
