ABCD is a quadrilateral. DF⊥AC and BE⊥AC
Let BE=6.8cm and DF=9.6cm and AC=30m=3000cm [∵1m=100cm]
Area of ABCD=Area of △ADC+Area of △ABC
=1/2×AC×DF+1/2×AC×BE
=1/2×AC(DF+BE)
=1/2×3000×(9.6+6.8)
=1500×16.4=
24600cm2
=2.46m2 [∵1m2=10,000cm2]
Thus, the area of quadrilateral ABCD is 2.46m2
