the diagonal of a rectangle is 10 m and the perimeter is 28m . what is the area of the rectangle?​

Answer:

P= 2 (l+b)

28 = 2 (l+b)

l+b = 14

Let the length be 'x'

l = x

b = (14-x)

as diagonal can be considered as hypotenuse

10^2= x^2+ (14-x)^2

x^2–28x+48 = 0

X = 8,6

X= 8m

X = l

l = 8m

b = (14–8)m

b = 6 m
