The diagonal of a rectangle is 60cm and its base is 40cm find the altitude of the rectangle and area of rectangle​

H²=P²+B²

60²=P²+40²

3600=P²+1600

3600-1600=P²

2000=P²

area of 1st triangle of rec=1/2×b×h

=1/2×40×44.72

=20×44.72

=894.4cm²

similarly, area of 2nd triangle is 894.4cm²

area of rectangle=area of 1st triangle+area of 2nd triangle

=894.4+894.4

area of rectangle=1788.8cm²
