the diagonal of the rectangle is the hypothenuse of its sides

let the sides be x, y

The diagonal is 3x

 ({3x})^{2} = {x}^{2} + {y}^{2} \\ 9 {x}^{2} = {x}^{2} + {y}^{2} \\ {y}^{2} = 8 {x}^{2} \\ y = 2 \sqrt{2}x \\

The ratio of sides are x:2√2x = 2√2:1

atharvsinghal98: but it is wrong answer
mehjabeen00: ohh
mehjabeen00: may I know what the wrong
atharvsinghal98: answer is 2√2:1
mehjabeen00: but it's same only 1:2√2
atharvsinghal98: same kaise hua
mehjabeen00: yaar no. sirf exchange hua hai ree... dimang lagao..
mehjabeen00: thik kar deti wait
mehjabeen00: see now
atharvsinghal98: ok
