The dimensions i.e. length, breadth and height of the rectangular box are 5, 4 and h. I am giving notation for root as R and square as S. While taking note of this solution replace R with root symbol and S with square symbol.

The length of base diagonal is R(5S+4S) = R(25+16) = R(41)

Now calculating the major diagonal, the two sides (of right angled triangle) will be height (h) and base diagonal (R41). It is R(R41S+hS) = 5R2.

Squaring on both sides 41+hS=25*2.

hS=50-41

hS=9

h=3

So the height of rectangular box is 3.
