We know diagonal of a square is \sqrt{2}a where a is the side of the square

Given :

\sqrt{2}a=12\sqrt{2}

Cancelling \sqrt{2} on both sides we get:-

So:

a=12

Perimeter =4 a

\implies 4*12

\implies 48

The perimeter is 48 units

Hope it helps.
