Given:

The diagonal of a square is 3.2m.

We know that, Diagonal of square;

=) side × √2

=) s√2 = 3.2

=) s= 3.2/√2m

Now,

Area of square:

=) side × side

=) s²

 =  > ( \frac{3.2}{ \sqrt{2} } ) {}^{2} \\  \\  =  >  \frac{3.2 \times 3.2}{ \sqrt{2} \times  \sqrt{2}  }   \\  \\  =  >  \frac{10.24}{2}  \\  \\  =  > 5.12 {m}^{2}

Thus,

The area of square is 5.12m².
