diagonal=x=29
side=y=20
another side=z
x^2=Y^2+z^2
29^2=20^2+z2
z2=841-400
z2=441
z=21
perimiter of rectangle is 2(y+z)
=2(20+21)
=82
perimeter of rectangle is 82m

Let the rectangle be ABCD in which AC is a diagonal of 29 m and one side of field be AB of 20 m.
Now the diagonal and the Two consecutive side make a right angled triangle ABC right angled at B.
By Pythagoras theorem,
AC^2= AB^2+BC^2
BC^2=AC^2-AB^2
= 29^2-20^2=841-400=441
BC=√441=21
Therefore the Two consecutive sides of rectangle are of 21 m and 20 m. Now perimeter of the rectangular field:
2(l+b)=2(21+20)=2(41)=82m
Therefore the perimeter of rectangular field is 82m.
