Given : AC= 24cm and BD = 10cm

We have, area= (1/2 × d1 × d2)sq.units

=(1/2×24×10)cm^2

=120cm^2{Ans1} Now,each side=1/2√[(d1)^2+(d2)^2]cm

=1/2√[(24)^2+(10)^2]cm

=1/2√[576+100]cm

=1/2√676 cm

=1/2√(26)^2 cm

=1/2×26 cm

=13cm{Ans2}

Answer:

Since, the diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at right angles

In right angled ∆AOD, by Pythagoras theorem, we have:

Hence, area of the rhombus is 120 sq. cm and length of each side is 13 cm.
