Since the diagonals of the given quadrilateral are perpendicular its a Rhombus.

Formula :

 \frac{1 }{2}  \times d1 + d2

where; d1 = diagonal no.1

d2 = diagonal no. 2

 \frac{1}{2}  \times d1 + d2 \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times 18 + 20 \\ here \: 2 \: and \: 18 \: get \: cancelled \: and \: 18 \: becomes \: 9 \\ 9 + 20 = 29 {cm}^{2}

Therefore, the area of the quadrilateral is 29 sq.cm
