The diagonals of a rectangle ABCD intersects at O. If angle BOC = 44 degree, find angle OAD

⇒  ∠BOC=∠AOD                [ Vertically opposite angles ]

∴  ∠AOD=44o.

We know, that diagonals of rectangle are equal and they are bisect each other equally.

∴  OA=OB=OC=OD

In △AOD,

⇒  ∠OAD=∠ODA      [ Base angles of   equal sides ]

⇒   ∠AOD+∠OAD+∠ODA=180o

⇒  44 +∠OAD+∠OAD=180o

⇒  2∠OAD=136o

∴  ∠OAD=68
