Given that

l , CD = 60 m


b , BD = ?

Diagonal , BC = 61 m

Using Pythagoras Theorem -

⇒ BC² = CD² + BD²

⇒ 61² = 60² + BD²

⇒ BD² = 3721 - 3600

⇒ BD = 11

Area of the Courty yard = l b

⇒ 60 × 11

⇒ 660 m²
