The diagonals of a rhombus are 10 cm and 8 cm if the area of rhombus is is equal to 1 by 10th of the area of a square then find the cost of fencing the square at the rate of 10 rupees per metre

Area of rhombus = 1/2 product of its diagonals

           =1/2 x 10cm x 8cm = 40sq.cm

therfore, 40sq.cm = 1/10of square area

          therefore,  400sq.cm=  area of square

          400sq.cm = 4sq.m

           4 x 10 = 40 rupees(as 1m cost 10 rupees)
