Area of rhombus = product of diagonals/2

Area of rhombus =  \frac{12*14}{2}

Area of rhombus = 6*14

Area of rhombus = 84cm^2

i hope this will help you

Answer:

The area of rhombus is 84 square cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Diagonals of a rhombus are 12 cm and 14 cm.

To find : The area of rhombus.

Solution :

Formula to find area of rhombus when diagonal are given is

Area= \frac{D_1\times D_2}{2}

where, D_1 and  D_2 are diagonals.

We have given D_1=12 cm and  D_2= 14 cm

Area= \frac{D_1\times D_2}{2}

Area= \frac{12\times 14}{2}

Area= \frac{168}{2}

Area= 84 cm^2

Therefore, The area of rhombus is 84 square cm.
