half of diagonal = 6cm and 8cm

by using Pythagoras theorem

at the point o where diagonals are meet at the point there are angles formed 90°

so,

a (side) of rhombus =

a  \sqrt{6 { }^{2} }  + 8 {}^{2}

36+64 = 100 = 10cm

now, as we know the perimeter of rhombus

= 4a = 4×10 = 40cm
