The diagonals of a rhombus are 12cm and 16cm. Find the area and also the length of the sides of the rhombus. (Hint: Use pythagoras theorem for finding the side.)

In rhombus
Area =1/2×d1×d2
=1/2×12×16
=96cm^2
side of rhombus=1/2√d1^2+d2^2
=1/2×√(144+196)
=1/2×√340
=1/2×2√85
=√85cm
