The diagonals of a rhombus are 15 cm and 20 cm. what is its area? Find its perimeter. ​

Answer:

Area of rhombus = 1/2 × d1(diagonal first) × d2 (diagonal second)

= 1/2 × 15 × 20

= 150 cm^2

Now, perimeter= 4 × side

Since diagonal of rhombus bisect at 90° therefore you can find the side using Pythagoras theorem

side = 12.5cm ( by Pythagoras theorem)

perimeter = 4 × 12.5

= 50cm.
