Let ABCD a rhombus and o is the point where diagonals bisect each other

AC and BD are diagonals of rhombus

So,AC= 30cm and BD =16 cm

As we know the property of rhombus that diagonals bisect each other so they are equal

therefore AO=CO =15 cm and BO =OD=8cm

Now by applying Pythagoras theorem

AD^2=AO^2+OD^2

AD^2 =15^2 +8^2

AD^2=289

AD =17

Since all the sides of rhombus are congurent

hence side of rhombus is 17 cm

Answer:

15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

let side be x

Diagonal 1 = 16 cm

Diagonal 2 = 30 cm

Area =

1/2 X D¹ X D²

= 1/2 X 16 X 30

= 240 cm²

Area of rhombus is also = height X Side

therefore

16 X x = 240

x = 240/16 = 15 cm

therefore each side of rhombus is 15 cm
