PQRS is a rhombus.

PR = 12 cm

QS = 16 cm

Diagonal of the rhombus bisect each other at 90°.

OP = 1/2 PR

= 6 cm

OQ = 1/2 QS

= 8 cm

By Pythagoras theorem,

In ∆POQ,

PQ2 = OP2 + OQ2

= (6)2 + (8)2

= 36 + 64

= √ 100

= 10 cm

The side of the rhombus is 10 cm.
