Area of Rhombus = 1/2 * Product of diagonals
Area = 1/2 * 16*12 = 96 cm^2

The diagonals bisect each other at 90 degree. Hence 'side' becomes the hypotenuse.
Side^2 = 8^2 + 6^2
Side^2 = 64+36 = 100
Side = root 100 = 10 cm
Hence, Length of side = 10 cm.

Perimeter = 4* side = 4*10 = 40 cm.
Hope it helps.
