diagonal of rhombus = 16cm and 12cm
we know that,
diagonal of rhombus bisect each other at 90°
rhombus form four right triangles
height and base of right triangle= 8cm and 6cm
by using pythagoras theorem
side^2= 8^2+6^2
side^2= 64+36
side= 10cm
perimeter= 4×side
=4× 10
=40cm

Answer :

Perimeter = 40 cm

Step-by-step explanation :

Given :

Diagonal ( p ) = 16 cm

Diagonal ( q ) = 12 cm

We know that ;

Perimeter of rhombus = 2√p² + q²

                                     = 2 √ 16² + 12²

                                     = 2 √ 256 + 144

                                    = 2 √ 400

                                    = 2 × 20

                                   = 40 cm

Hence, the perimeter of rhombus is 40 cm.
