Basic thing we need is area of triangle formula i.e 1/2 × (base) × (height).

Here is a Rough Diagram,

Now we can see there are 4 triangles of similar area.

Area of one triangle ,

= 1/2×(4)×(5)

= 10 cm sq.

Total area of rhombus ,

= 4 × area of one triangle

= 4 × 10

= 40 cm sq.
