Given : diagonals of a rhombus are in the ratio 3 : 4

longer diagonal is 12 cm

To Find : area of  the rhombus.

Solution :

Let say diagonal length are 3L  & 4L

4L is longer than 3L

4L = 12

=> L = 3

3L = 3 * 3   = 9  cm

4L = 12 cm

Area of Rhombus = (1/2) * diagonal 1 * diagonal 2

= (1/2) * 9 * 12

= (1/2) * 108

= 54  cm²

area of  the rhombus.  = 54  cm²
