Given that :-

The diagonal of cube =  \sqrt{12 \: }cm {}

If the edge of cube be 'a' units then,

Edge of cube =  \sqrt{3a \:}units {}

Therefore,

√3a = √12

a = \dfrac{√12}{√3}

a = √4

a = 2 CM

Hence, The edge of cube = 2 CM.
