Area of Rhombus-

 \frac{1}{2}   \times pdt \:  \: of \:  \: diagonals

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 12 \times 16

6 \times 16

96cm^{2}

divide the rhombus in 4 triangles

height of 1st tri.= 8

base= 6

area= [8*6]/2

area=24

area of complete rhombus= 24*4=96
