Given :-

  • The diagonals of rhombus are 32 cm and 40 cm.

To find :-

  • Area of Rhombus

Solution :-

  • First diagonal of rhombus = 32 cm

  • Second diagonal of rhombus = 40cm

As we know that

→ Area of rhombus = ½ × product of diagonals

→ Area of Rhombus = ½ × D1 × D2

Where " D1 " is first diagonal and " D2 " is second diagonal.

According to the given condition

→ Area of Rhombus

→ ½ × D1 × D2

Put the values

→ ½ × 32 × 40

→ 32 × 20

→ 640 cm²

Hence,

  • Area of Rhombus is 640 cm²
