The diagram below shows a flag of Jamaica. K l is parallel to m n. P m n is an isosceles triangle. M angle 1 equals 6x - 20 degrees and M angle 2 equals 2x + 12 degrees. Use an equation to find the value of x and then find the measure of angle 3

Sum of all angle of a triangle=180degree
triangle ABC is a isosceles triangle,therefore,angleB=angleC
angleA:angleB=5:2
therefore,5x+2x+2x=180degree
9x=180 degree
x=180/9degree
x=20degree
Therefore,angle A=5x=100degree
angle B=2x=40degree
and angle C=2x=40degree
