If it is in the dark, then it will become lighter in colour, due to de-starch(Using of starch for surving) and it will nearly die,i.e, will bent(due to no food),and also will lose it's rigidity after 5-6 days.

If it is in light then, no change will nearly occur as it will make new starch and use it.
