i)

the magnetic field lines are uniform i.e. they do not change with respect to the change in position in the region.

ii)

As we know that the magnetic field lines always move from North pole to South pole outside the magnet then according to this principle we have magnetic north pole towards B and south pole towards A and the geographic north is opposite to the magnetic north, hence we've A as geographic north.
