Cylinder. If 80% of the volume is actually the glue.

To Find : volume of glue  in the stick

Solution:

As figure is not given :

CASE 1 :

Assuming 1.8 cm as Diameter

and 5 cm as Height

Volume = πr²h

r = 1.8/2 = 0.9 cm

h = 5 cm

π = 3.14

Volume = 3.14 ( 0.9)² * 5 =  12.717  cm³

80 % of volume is glue = 0.8 x 12.717   =  10.1736  cm³

volume of glue  in the stick = 10.1736  cm³

CASE 2 :

Assuming 1.8 cm as radius

and 5 cm as Height

Volume = πr²h

r = 1.8  cm

h = 5 cm

π = 3.14

Volume = 3.14 ( 1.8)² * 5 =  50.868  cm³

80 % of volume is glue = 0.8 x 50.868   =  40.6944  cm³

volume of glue  in the stick =  40.6944  cm³
