Required Answer:-

Clearly from the diagram, it can be understood that the load carrying part of the lorry is a cuboid with dimensions 4 m × 2.5 m × 2 m.

To find the volume of the load-carrying part, use the formula for finding the volume of a cuboid. That is,

  • { \sf{volume \:  =  \boxed{ \rm{ \red{l \times b \times h}}}}}

Use the formula and the put the values given. No need to care about the order, since the end product will be same in each case.

➛ Volume of cuboid = 4 m × 2.5 m × 2 m

➛ Volume of cuboid = 20 m³ (Ans)

Given :-

Length = 4 m

Breadth = 2.5 m

Height = 2 m

To Find :-

Volume

Solution :-

Here, the volume of lorry = Volume of cuboid

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

Volume of cuboid = 4 × 2.5 × 2

Volume of cuboid = 4 × 25/10 × 2

Volume of cuboid = 2 × 5 × 2

Volume of cuboid = 20 m³

Know More :-

TSA of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)

LSA of cuboid = 2(l + b)h

Diagonal of cuboid = √(l² + b² + h²)
