Given :  a picture of a giraffe with height h cm.

A real giraffe is 5.5m heigh

To Find :  ratio of the height of the giraffe to the height of the picture.

Solution:

height of the giraffe  = 5.5 m

1 m = 100 cm

=> height of the giraffe  = 5.5 x 100  cm

=> height of the giraffe  = 550  cm

height of the picture. = h cm

ratio of the height of the giraffe to the height of the picture. = 550/h  cm

We need value of h to het ratio

if h = 5.5 cm then  Ratio = 550/5.5 = 100 /1  = 100 : 1

if h = 0.55 cm then Ratio = 550/0.55 = 1000/1 = 1000: 1

if h = 0.5 cm  then Ratio = 550/0.5  = 1100 : 1

if h =  5 cm  then Ratio = 550/5  = 110 : 1
