for that use the formula:

Volume= cross section area × Length

volume is 253.8 and length is 18

dive volume by length to the get area

therefore, area = 253.8/18

= 4.7

for the second question we need to calculate the total surface area for taht we need to calculate the area of the upper surface, area of base,area of two triangle and the area of rectangle

so starting with the rectangle

area= 18×4.7=84.6cm²

then area of triangle
