The diagram, which is not drawn to scale, is a sketch of the velocity-time graph of a train over a period of 480 s. (a) Find the acceleration of the train at t = 10 and at t = 420. [3] (b) Find the velocity of the train at t = 20. [2] (c) Calculate the distance travelled from t = 0 tot = 480. = [4]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Dear student

a = 10/v+1 = dv/dt

10 * dt = (v+1) dv

On integrating

10 t = v² /2 + v + c

At t = 0 , v = 0 hence c= 0

Now

10 t = 15²/2 + 15

t = 112.5 +15 /10 = 12.75 sec

Now you can find the distance

You will get the distance as 38.33 m
