Answer:

Given: For cylindrical tank: diameter (d) = 1.75 m, height (h) = 3.2

To Find: Capacity of tank in litre

diameter (d) = 1.75 m = 1.75 x 100 ….[∵ 1 m = 100cm]

= 175 cm

∴ radius (r) = d/2 = 175/2 cm

h = 3.2 cm

= 3.2 x 100

= 320

Capacity of tank = Volume of the cylindrical tank = π r²h

∴ The capacity of the tank is 7700 litre

Answer:

Here, r =1.75/2 =0.875 , h= 3.2m

capacity of tank= 22/7×0.875×0.875.3.2

= 22×0.125×0.875×3.2

= 22×0.109375×3.2

=7.7m

= 77litre
