The diameter and length of a roller are 70cm and100cm respectively.It moves once over to level a playground of area 4400m².find the no of revolution the roller will take to level the playground.

Then, Radius of the roller,r = d/2 = 70/2 cm =35 cm

The length covered per revolution = the curved surface area of the roller = 2πrh = 2×22/7×35 cm × 100 cm = 22000cm²=22000cm²÷10000cm²=2.2m²[ 1 m² = 10000 cm² ]

Total Area To Cover = 4400 m²

∴Required No. of Revolutions = 4400m²/2.2m² = 2000
